i contemplate the dimensions of our personal cycles—and smita reminds me that we are comprised of spinning electrons. we’re in constant motion from within, while subject to all the rhythms and rotations from without

i consider our many forms of relationship, all of which maintain independent yet reciprocal trajectories, often affected by light and gravity. much less of the latter if there’s a dog involved

i think about decisions—those specific, momentary, intersections of thought and time where fate leans back, watches and learns, while we swivel wildly around the sun, holding on with our toes

i daydream as much as my schedule permits, but i generally don’t idle. i am a bizzling, scribbling fool, trying my best not to get too dizzy as i enjoy each and every revolution

Lacking an off-switch. Glenn Martinez enjoys work much more than you would think a person ought to. Still, Glenn swims in the ocean most mornings, and walks down with Smita and the pups, Bobo and Pupu, for most sunsets.

Dexterity and and eye for patterns may at times make Glenn appear musical. He does not play poker very well, but would love to join your game. Glenn once traded a logo for a pilot’s license, is willing and able to ski any hill (but just hills — no more half-pipes), and yes, he has a circus. It’s not even the first one.

Glenn is founder of Branditecture, a strategic branding agency. For decades, Glenn has helped tech and consumer brands with all aspects of strategy, messaging, and design.

Glenn is the creative force behind Maui-based Circus Lolo, a life-sized, live-action parody of a circus.

Glenn and his wife Smita are cofounders of Low Gravity, a Hawaii 501(3)c non-profit corporation with the mission to inspire fulfillment and
promote joy through laughter,  participation, and fun.
